Treecat AI Listing Beta: Faster Bulk Listing, Better Review, and Easier Crosslisting

Treecat has rolled out updates to its AI listing feature in beta, designed to make bulk listing easier, faster, and more accurate for resellers. With the newest improvements, sellers can upload multiple product photos at once, review AI-generated drafts more clearly, and correct mistakes before anything goes live.

What’s New in Treecat’s AI Listing Beta

The biggest update is the ability to create listings from multiple images in bulk instead of handling items one at a time. This is especially helpful for sellers working through a death pile or listing mixed inventory across categories.

With the new workflow, Treecat now gives sellers:

  • Better visibility into what the AI is doing during upload and grouping
  • Easier review of generated drafts
  • The ability to correct categories, item specifics, and photos before publishing
  • Crosslisting support across multiple marketplaces

This beta update is built to streamline the listing process while still keeping the seller in control.

How Bulk Image Listing Works

To start, sellers go to the Inventory page and choose AI Image Listing Beta from the main actions menu. From there, they select the marketplaces they want to list on and upload a batch of images.

A useful part of the process is that the uploaded items do not need to match. They can be completely different products in different categories, such as:

  • Shoes
  • Pocket watches
  • Bras
  • Socks
  • Model kits

Treecat then groups the images automatically and generates draft listings based on what it believes the items are.

Pro tip: Put important photos first

The first few images matter most because the AI uses them to identify the product. If one of the photos includes size tags, brand details, or other identifying information, it helps to move those images near the front of the set.

Review, Correct, and Redo AI Drafts

One of the most helpful changes is the new ability to review and redo AI-generated details before listing.

After Treecat creates the draft listings, sellers can:

  • Expand the view to see items more clearly
  • Move images between product groupings if the AI split an item incorrectly
  • Edit product titles, categories, and item specifics
  • Save changes before crosslisting

If the AI picks the wrong category, sellers can use the AI redo option to regenerate item specifics after changing the category. This is especially useful when the AI gets close but not quite right.

For example, if a bra is miscategorized, a seller can switch it to the correct women’s clothing subcategory, then refresh the item specifics so they match the new category.

Crosslisting and Inventory Management Integration

Treecat’s AI listing beta is fully connected to its broader inventory management and crosslisting system. That means once a listing is ready, sellers can crosslist it to other marketplaces like:

  • eBay
  • Poshmark
  • Mercari
  • Whatnot

Treecat also helps prevent overselling by syncing inventory across marketplaces. If one item sells on one platform, it can automatically be removed from the others.

Sellers can choose to:

  1. Finalize the draft on one marketplace first
  2. Review and correct everything
  3. Autofill or crosslist to additional marketplaces afterward
  4. Launch the listing when everything looks right

A Better Workflow for Resellers

This update is especially useful for sellers with a large backlog of unsorted inventory. Instead of manually building every listing from scratch, Treecat now helps turn a batch of images into multiple draft listings in just a few minutes.

Other benefits include:

  • More transparency during AI processing
  • Easier correction before publishing
  • No extra charge for using the feature itself
  • Payment only when an item sells, as with other billable Treecat actions

Treecat says the goal of this beta is to make AI listing simpler, more accurate, and easier to manage while still giving sellers the final say.

If you’re looking for a faster way to handle bulk resale inventory, this new AI listing feature may be worth trying.
