How Treecat Fast Match Helps You Link Listings Faster

If you’re cross-listing across multiple platforms, keeping inventory synced can get messy fast. Treecat’s Fast Match feature is designed to make that process easier by helping you quickly match the same item across your listings so everything stays aligned.

What Is Fast Match?

Fast Match is a tool inside the Inventory page in Treecat. It scans your listings and suggests matches between items that appear to be the same product across different platforms.

This is especially useful if you already have multiple listings pulled into Treecat and want to make sure they’re properly linked.

Where to Find It

You can access Fast Match by going to the Inventory page and clicking the Fast Match button.

Once you’re there, the first step is to click Calculate in the upper-left corner. Treecat will then start analyzing your listings and looking for possible matches.

How the Matching Process Works

After you click Calculate, Treecat begins comparing your listings. Depending on how many listings you have, this may take a minute or more.

For sellers with a large inventory, the system may take a bit of time to finish—but once it’s done, it will show you suggested matches, including cases where Treecat has high confidence that certain listings belong together.

Reviewing and Accepting Matches

Treecat may show you a match with 100% certainty. Before accepting, you can review the listings to make sure they’re correct.

If you need more details, click the eyeball icon to view additional information about the listing. Once you’re sure the items are the same, click Accept to link them together.

After that, the listings are successfully connected.
