Create and Manage eBay Auction Listings Directly in Treecat
Treecat now lets you create and publish eBay auction listings without leaving the platform. You can manage your auction settings alongside your other listing details—and let Treecat help coordinate your crosslisted inventory while the auction is active.
Set Up an eBay Auction in Treecat
When creating or editing an eBay listing in Treecat, you can switch the listing type from fixed price to auction. Then set the details for your auction, including:
- Starting bid
- Auction duration
- Reserve price
- Buy It Now price, when applicable
Once everything is configured, publish the auction directly to eBay from Treecat.
Keep Crosslisted Inventory in Sync
An item listed for auction could otherwise sell on another marketplace while the auction is still running. Treecat helps prevent that by adjusting available inventory across your connected marketplaces.
If you have one item, Treecat can temporarily delist it from other marketplaces while the auction is active. If you have multiple units, Treecat subtracts the quantity committed to the auction while keeping the remaining inventory available for sale elsewhere.
Restore Inventory When an Auction Ends
If an auction ends without a winning bid, Treecat can make the item available again and automatically relist it on your other marketplaces. That means you don’t have to go marketplace by marketplace to rebuild your listings.
Manage eBay Auctions Alongside Your Other Listings
With eBay auction listings in Treecat, you can use auctions while continuing to benefit from crosslisting inventory management and automation. Create the auction in Treecat, and Treecat helps manage your inventory around it.
This feature is part of Treecat’s growing set of eBay enhancements, designed to give sellers more control over their listings without managing every marketplace separately.
