How to Use Treecat’s D-list Relist Feature for Faster Inventory Refreshes

If you manage a large resale inventory, stale listings can slow down sales. Treecat’s D-list relist tool helps you automatically delist and relist items on supported marketplaces, making it easier to refresh older listings and improve visibility.

1. Important Notes Before You Start

Before using the D-list relist feature, Treecat recommends a few precautions:

• Fees may apply if you are not already a Treecat cross-lister and are not receiving automatic delist/relist support.
• Marketplace limits matter. Platforms like eBay and Mercari may have rules about how many delist/relist actions you can perform in a month.
• Avoid using automatic relisting in ways that could violate marketplace policies.

In short: use the feature thoughtfully and make sure your relisting activity stays within each platform’s guidelines.

2. Go to Your Inventory and Find the Items You Want to Refresh

To begin, open your Inventory page in Treecat and search for the items you want to delist and relist.

For example, if you have a group of older listings for a brand like Victoria’s Secret, you can:

• Search by keyword
• Select one item
• Or use Select All to choose many items at once

Treecat also offers additional filtering options, such as:

• Marketplace
• Listing date
• Archive status
• Labels

But for a quick refresh, the easiest approach is to search, select the items, and move to the next step.

3. Use Main Actions to Start the D-list Relist

Once your items are selected, follow these steps:

1. Scroll to the bottom of the page
2. Click Main Actions
3. Choose D-list relist
4. Select the marketplaces you want to relist on

At the moment, Treecat supports this feature for:

• eBay
• Mercari

You can choose to relist on one platform or both, depending on your needs.

If you want the relisting to happen right away, choose the option for an immediate D-list relist and confirm the selection. After that, Treecat will schedule the action to run immediately.

4. How to Confirm the Relist Worked

After you start the process, there are two easy ways to check progress:

• Event status: You can open the listing’s event details and see whether the delist/relist action is pending or completed.
• Updated list date: In the listing itself, the list date should update once the relist is finished.

For example, if the list date changes to today’s date on eBay, that’s a good sign the relist has completed successfully. If one marketplace is still pending, it should update once that platform finishes processing.
