How to Relist That Sold #treecat #crosslisting

How to Relist a Sold Item in Treecat
If you have an item in Treecat that has already sold and you want to list it again as a fresh listing, the process is simple. Treecat automatically archives sold items, which keeps them out of your active feed — but you can still find them, copy them, and relist them.
1. Find the Sold Item
Start by using the search area in Treecat.
- Go to the search section
- Click the funnel filter icon
- Uncheck the Archive label
- Apply the filter
This will show both active and archived items, including listings that have already sold.
2. Copy the Item
Once you find the item you want to relist, open Main Actions and choose Copy Item.
You can also copy items in bulk if you want to relist several products at once. Treecat will create a duplicate version of the original listing.
3. Edit the Copied Listing
After the copy is created, search for it again. The copied version will usually include the word copy in the title, so it’s easy to identify.
Before relisting, make sure to:
- Unarchive the item
- Remove the word copy from the title
- Update the price if needed
- Edit any product details
- Change the custom SKU if desired
Many sellers use custom SKUs to include details like date, storage location, box number, or cost.
4. Use Autofill for Crosslisting
Once the listing is cleaned up and updated, you can use Treecat’s autofill feature to prepare it for crosslisting.
For example, you can autofill from eBay to platforms like:
- Mercari
- Poshmark
- Other marketplaces
Always review the autofilled information carefully to make sure everything is accurate before publishing.
5. List It to Your Selling Platforms
When everything looks correct, you can list the item to the platforms you want.
- Click List
- Choose the marketplaces you want
- Publish the item
That’s it — your previously sold item is now ready to be listed again as a new product.
6. Final Tip
The key steps are:
- Find the archived item
- Copy it
- Unarchive it
- Remove copy from the title
- Update details
- Autofill and crosslist
This makes it easy to relist sold inventory without recreating the listing from scratch.
