Treecat Adds Whatnot Crosslisting: New Beta Marketplace Support

Treecat has expanded its reselling platform with support for Whatnot, marking a fourth marketplace in its crosslisting workflow. The new integration is currently in public beta, and the Treecat team is actively gathering feedback while continuing to improve the experience.

If you sell across multiple marketplaces, this update is designed to help you list faster, manage inventory better, and reduce the chance of overselling.

What Treecat’s Whatnot Beta Includes Right Now

At launch, the Whatnot integration includes the core features sellers need to get started:

• Basic crosslisting
• Sales detection
• Auto-delisting
• Marketplace filtering in the inventory tab

That means if an item sells on one platform, Treecat can automatically remove it from the others. Treecat also added Whatnot directly to its main supported marketplaces page.

Because this is still a beta release, some features are not yet available. The team emphasized that improvements are being rolled out regularly.

What’s Coming Next for Whatnot Support

Treecat plans to add more functionality very soon. According to the update, the next major improvements for Whatnot include:

• AI autofill
• Bulk actions

These features are already part of the broader Treecat experience on other marketplaces, and the goal is to bring the same streamlined workflow to Whatnot.

For now, Whatnot listing creation is more manual, but that should change as the beta develops.

How the Current Crosslisting Workflow Works

During the demo, Treecat showed how sellers can crosslist an item from one marketplace to another. The process currently works like this:

1. Go to the inventory tab
2. Select a listing ready to crosslist
3. Fill in Whatnot details manually for now
4. Save changes
5. Click List to send the item to multiple marketplaces

Treecat also showed that users can continue working while listings are processing. You do not need to wait for one crosslist to finish before starting another.

This makes it easier to manage a high-volume inventory workflow across eBay, Mercari, Poshmark, and Whatnot.

Why This Matters for Resellers

For resellers, adding Whatnot support means more selling opportunities and more flexibility in how inventory is managed. Treecat’s goal is to reduce repetitive work and make it easier to publish the same item across multiple channels.
