What actually prevents double sales
- It keeps running when you are not watching. A tool that needs an open tab or an awake laptop misses sales overnight if that machine sleeps.
- It tells you when a delist fails. Logins expire and marketplaces show captchas. Treecat retries and emails you a link to any listing it could not remove.
- Your listings are linked as one item. Auto-delist only protects listings the tool knows are the same item. See matching existing listings.
- You can see what happened. Look for an activity log. In Treecat, see checking that delists happened.

Which crosslisting app delists fastest?
Of the published numbers, Vendoo checks every 10 minutes (in beta, with a browser tab open), Nifty and Flyp about every 15, and Treecat every 30 minutes around the clock without a browser tab. Several tools do not publish an interval.
Do any auto-delist tools work with my computer off?
PrimeLister says its auto-delist runs in the cloud. Treecat checks eBay, Amazon and Shopify from its servers, but Poshmark, Mercari, Whatnot, Facebook and Etsy need its desktop agent running on one computer. Vendoo, Crosslist and List Perfectly need a browser or extension running for at least some marketplaces.
Can auto-delist prevent every double sale?
No tool can guarantee it, because sales on Poshmark and Mercari are found by polling. A tool that runs 24/7 and alerts you to failed delists keeps the risk low.
