Treecat vs Vendoo: which crosslister is better for auto-delist and cost?

Vendoo is a monthly subscription ($14.99–$59.99) whose sale detection runs in an open browser tab every ten minutes. Treecat has no subscription — you pay per crosslisted sale, from $0.60 down to $0.06 — and checks for sales every 30 minutes from its servers and desktop agent, with no browser tab open. Vendoo supports Depop and Grailed; Treecat adds Amazon, Shopify and Walmart and includes Poshmark sharing at no extra cost.

What you would pay

Treecat costs nothing in a month with no sales, and grows with what you sell:

Treecat monthly cost by number of billable sales
Billable sales in a monthTreecat cost
0 sales$0
20 sales$12.00
50 sales$26.40
100 sales$47.40
200 sales$63.00

Vendoo costs the same whether you sell or not. Sellers with uneven months, or up to about 140 sales a month compared with the plan that includes Poshmark sharing, usually pay less with Treecat.

Which one should you choose?

  • Choose Treecat if you want no subscription, sell on Amazon, Shopify, Whatnot or Walmart, run several accounts per marketplace, or have helpers who need access.
  • Choose Vendoo if you sell on Depop or Grailed, or want sale checks more often than every 30 minutes and are happy to keep a browser tab open.

Treecat checks eBay, Amazon and Shopify from its servers. Poshmark, Mercari, Whatnot, Facebook Marketplace and Etsy go through the Treecat desktop agent, so one computer has to stay on.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is Treecat cheaper than Vendoo?

For most part-time and mid-size sellers, yes: Treecat is $0 in a month with no sales and $26.40 for 50 sales, against $14.99–$59.99 every month for Vendoo. Very high-volume sellers should compare both at their own numbers.

Does Vendoo need my computer on for auto-delist?

Vendoo’s help center says your computer must be on and connected with Vendoo open in a browser tab. Treecat needs one computer running its desktop agent for Poshmark, Mercari, Whatnot, Facebook and Etsy, but no browser tab.
